The line consists of a 72″ vertical glass washing machine with heated re circulating detergent section, recirculating rinse water, and final clean water rinse, 8 vertical conveyors and a vertical laminate film application station.
There are 2 conveyors to feed the glass panels into the washing machine, 3 vertical conveyor sections with light inspection feeding the glass panels out of the washing machine and into the film applicator, and 3 vertical conveyors after the film applicator with light inspection.
The complete line speed, including the washer, is controlled from a hand held control located at the laminating station. This hand held control panel is located on a stand but can be removed for the hand held feature. There are three emergency stop buttons , plus a photo sensor located on the last conveyor to prevent any glass panels reaching this station if a piece is left on the line. There is also a photo cell sensor located prior to the laminating station on conveyor #5 which starts and stops the laminating process.It is timed to start the film application based on the speed of the line.
The power requirements are:-
Washer: 230 Volts, 3 phase, 60 cycle 56 FLA
laminating section: 230 Volt, 3 phase,60 cycle 10 FLA
The line was custom manufactured in North America and purchased new in 2002 and has been used for manufacturing bullet proof glass. Instruction manual and electrical schematics are included and all spare parts are available. It has been installed inside a clean room and been very well taken care of and is in excellent condition.
